From 29 June to 10 July 2026, the Ocean Technology Campus Rostock hosted the fourth edition of the RoOT Summer School. Fifteen participants from a wide range of countries and academic backgrounds came together to deepen their knowledge, exchange ideas, and connect with experts from academia and industry.

The 2026 programme focused on “Challenges and Chances of Offshore Wind Energy.” Through lectures, workshops, company visits, and hands-on activities, participants gained comprehensive insights into current developments in the field. The programme covered topics ranging from offshore wind farm planning and environmental and societal aspects to electrical infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and innovative engineering approaches, providing a broad perspective on the opportunities and challenges associated with offshore wind energy.
