Applications such as the optimization of supply chains, the simulation of molecules for new drugs and the optimization of shipping routes in the world's oceans were vividly presented. The discussion also addressed current challenges, such as the complexity of technology development and the enormous energy requirements of these systems.

Thanks to the charming and competent moderation by Alke Martens, it was possible to make the challenging content understandable for everyone - from interested laypeople to experts. Interactive Q&A sessions also ensured a lively exchange between the audience and experts.

The conclusion of the evening: quantum computers are no longer just theory, but a technology that could play a decisive role in shaping our future. This informative and entertaining evening set a milestone in the dialog between science and society.
