RoOT Summer School 2026

will take place from 29 June to 10 July.

The summer school adresses international young professionals from industry as well as PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and selected Master graduates with a background in any aspect of ocean technology or marine science!

2026, the RoOT Summer School will take place for the fifth time. Over a two-week course, 16 selected participants from academia and industry will have the opportunity to gain detailed insights into various interdisciplinary aspects of ocean technology, with a special focus on activities of the Ocean Technology Campus Rostock.

Challenges and Chances of Offshore Wind Energy

Balancing Climate Goals and Ecosystem Health

* A limited number of needs-based fee waivers is available for applicants who are currently unable to cover the participation fee.
Fee waiver requests can be submitted directly within the application form, which opens in February 2026. All requests are treated confidentially and do not affect the evaluation of the application.
