The event will focus on current research projects by early-career researchers from the LL&M network. In concise short presentations, they will provide insights into their projects and demonstrate the thematic and methodological breadth of research at the department. The program ranges from biomedical applications and materials science to photonic and imaging techniques.
Among other topics, new approaches to cardiac support systems, innovative materials for hydrogen storage, and studies on perception and navigation in seals will be presented. High-resolution analytical methods and studies on ultrafast dynamic processes in materials are also part of the program.
The Graduate Network Meeting thus not only offers an overview of current research topics but also specifically creates space for interdisciplinary exchange and networking within the department. The combination of different methodological approaches is considered a central feature of LL&M and is particularly evident in this format.
In addition to the scientific presentations, the focus is on discussions and personal interactions. A shared lunch and networking sessions foster exchange among participants from different research groups and disciplines.
Through the Graduate Network Meeting, the Department of LL&M specifically enhances the visibility and networking opportunities for early-career researchers while also highlighting its interdisciplinary research approach.
