The aim of the retreat is to identify additional thematic points of connection for joint research beyond the existing activities in the field of Networked Matter. In an open and interactive format, participants will gain mutual insights into research approaches, methods, and infrastructures, and explore new perspectives for future collaborations.
The programme includes short scientific impulses and lightning talks from both research areas, interactive networking formats, a laboratory tour at the Faculty of Engineering, and discussions on shared methodological approaches, large-scale research infrastructure, and funding opportunities. Topics related to early-career researcher development and new project ideas will also be given dedicated space.
With this retreat, LLM and KiNSIS seek to further strengthen scientific exchange and lay the foundation for sustainable, cross-site collaborations.
Interested members are warmly invited to get in touch if they would like to participate in the retreat.
