From July 7-18, the Ocean Technology Campus hosted the fourth edition of the RoOT Summer School. Thirteen young professionals from across several countries came together to expand their knowledge, share perspectives, and dive into discussions around ocean technology.

As part of the Future Cluster Ocean Technology Campus, the University of Rostock works closely with institutes and companies in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to develop sustainable approaches for the future use of our oceans.

Participants were given valuable insights into the cluster’s projects, highlighting the interdisciplinary collaboration between academia and industry.

The 2025 program centered on “Subsea Sampling and Analysis Techniques, including Machine Learning Approaches” (Program).
